The certified training in horticultural crop production is a six-week on-site course covering essential topics related to sustainable and environmentally friendly crop production. This training aims to provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge on growing horticultural crops—from seed sourcing to harvesting. Participants will learn various options for sourcing seeds, successful nursery practices, types of fertilizers, application methods (including making their own fertilizer), pest and disease identification and control, and crop harvesting. The course also addresses theoretical knowledge behind each agronomic practice, with a focus on soilless agriculture and greenhouse production.
