INTRODUCTION
The large nightshade (Solanum marcocarpon L.) , Gboma in “fon”, belongs to the Solanaceae family which includes other well-known species such as tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and chili peppers. In Benin, this vegetable is grown for its leaves rich in calcium and phosphorus and consumed in sauce. It is therefore one of the top three leafy vegetables produced in Benin and constitutes an important source of income for producers. Despite this importance, many producers are unable to make the most of their production due to lack of mastery of production techniques. This sheet is part of the dissemination of good production practices and techniques for better performance.
